Ramipril

Ramipril is a medication used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure by decreasing certain chemicals so that blood vessels become tightened to allow smoother blood flow. Ramipril side effects can include headache, dizziness, chest pain, sore throat, fever, upset stomach, fatigue, diarrhea, and unusual bruising. The number of fighting white blood cells in a Ramipril patient may be reduced so that infections may develop into serious conditions.

Swelling of the face eyes, lips, tongue, arms, or legs, as well as any difficulty breathing or swallowing, fainting, rash, or yellowing of the skin or eyes may indicate serious Ramipril adverse effects. Liver problems, kidney problems, and cardiovascular events have been linked to the use of Ramipril. Ramipril controls high blood pressure and heart failure but is not intended to cure it.
